Hello!
 I'm Brook Mesenbrink
Artist & Art Educator

Picture
After receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts and working as a graphic designer for several years, I fell in love with teaching art when I volunteered in my son's kindergarten class in 2007. For the next seven years, I taught art to children in public, private and after school programs before our family began to home school using the classical method of education. This learning method caused me to realize that there is a natural progression to learning how to make art, which is similar to learning how to play a sport or a musical instrument. Once you master each level, you will gain confidence as your skills increase. Learning how to draw, paint and sculpt is attainable by anyone who applies these skills with repetition. These art lessons have been tried and tested with students of all ages and backgrounds for many years and I know they will empower you with real skills to find your creative voice.
